Hello all! I am finally getting a chance to update what's happening out there with LC4G! First I would like to thank you all for the outpouring of prayers and generosity!
As the season continues to get colder, the needs continue to increase.
We are still feeding folks at the Regal...just not on the property. We are now packing approximately 100 plates a night. The number of rooms with children, disabled, and elderly have increased, and they are the ones we are trying to get a hot meal to first.
Now that the temps have dropped, we will be back on the road more, meeting the immediate needs of our local homeless that are sleeping on the ground. We are so thankful for the recent donations of blankets, pillows, coats, and gloves that have come in. They will be much appreciated, I'm sure.
I am going to ask that as "The Church" of Murfreesboro, you will go back to your individual places of fellowship and worship with these prayer requests:
- Pray for our missionaries and their tireless efforts of reaching out
- Pray for an increase of funds/supplies so we may continue to meet needs/shelter
